Memberships aren't on sale yet. The parts of this page about buying, renewing and refunds describe how memberships will work. We'll update it before they go on sale.
AnonRealm is a Minecraft server run by AnonRealm ("we"). This page explains what we collect when you play on the server or visit anonrealm.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it to what we need to run a fair, safe server.
1. What we collect when you play#
- Your Minecraft identity: your username, your account's unique ID, and for Bedrock players your Xbox gamertag. Minecraft sends these when you join.
- A scrambled form of your IP address: your connection address is needed to play. We don't store it. We store a one-way, keyed hash of it, which only lets us tell whether two accounts connect from the same network (to stop ban evasion and reward farming). It can't be turned back into your address.
- Gameplay: your inventory, balance, homes and team bases, teams, stats, achievements, quests, cosmetics, membership tier, and when you join and leave.
- What you do and say on the server: chat messages, commands, trades and payments in game, blocks you place and break, and reports you send or receive. We use these to moderate, fix bugs, undo griefing and catch cheating.
- Anti-cheat signals: our anti-cheat records movement and combat checks that look unusual.
2. The website#
You don't need an account to use anonrealm.com, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) for security. The only cookies are for the owner's sign-in to the admin area.
3. Purchases#
Once memberships go on sale, they'll be paid through a payment provider, which we'll name here first. It will handle your payment details; we will never see or store your card number. We will receive what we need to give you your membership: your Minecraft username, what you bought, and the payment's status.
4. How we use it#
- To run the game: save your progress, your base, your money and your membership.
- To keep the server fair and safe: moderation, anti-cheat, stopping alt accounts and ban evasion.
- To fix problems: restoring lost items or progress after a bug, undoing griefing, recovering from server failures.
- To understand how the server is doing: player counts and economy totals, viewed only by the owner.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
5. Who else handles it#
Only the companies that run the server for us, and only to do that:
- Godlike (game server hosting)
- Supabase (database for the owner dashboard and backups)
- Vercel (website hosting)
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect players from serious harm.
6. How long we keep it#
- Your game data is kept while the server runs, so your progress is there when you come back.
- Copies of events in the owner dashboard are deleted after 90 days.
- Backups of the server and player data are kept so we can recover from failures: recent ones for up to 14 days online, and some older copies in secure offline storage. They are only used to restore the server.
7. Your choices#
You can ask us what we hold about your account, to correct it, or to delete it. Email anonrealm404@gmail.com from an address you can be reached at, with your Minecraft username. We'll ask you to prove the account is yours (for example by typing a code in game). Deleting your data removes your progress on the server for good. Deleted data leaves our backups as they expire, and is never restored to the server.
8. Children#
Many Minecraft players are young. We don't ask for names, ages, emails or addresses to play, and we only collect what's described above. If you're under 13, play with a parent or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian can contact anonrealm404@gmail.com to see or delete their child's data. Purchases must be made by an adult or with a parent's or guardian's permission.
9. Changes#
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and announce bigger changes on the server.
